My mother loved the snow! She would put on Christmas music, make a pan of fudge, and watch the snow fall. She was diagnosed with ALS at age 82 and passed on at age 83. I made this large snowflake quilt in her memory. It makes me smile!

What a beautiful quilt! I love how Grandma always made the simplest things into festive occasions. Some fudge, Christmas music, and snow sound just perfect right now!
